Former pitcher and 1983 AL Cy Young winner LaMarr Hoyt died on Monday, . He was 66. Hoyt grew up in South Carolina and was originally drafted by the in 1973. Four years later they traded him to the White Sox in the Bucky Dent deal, and Hoyt made his debut two years later.
