Begin by selecting a manageable number of high priority objectives. These could include preventing incident escalation, shortening permit processing times, or reducing the number of overdue audit findings. Concentrating on a focused group of goals makes it easier for teams to measure results and demonstrate progress.

Creating an environment where employees are comfortable raising concerns, reporting near misses, and identifying potential hazards is equally important.
